Had the pleasure of bringing Chris Hryciw and his inlaws, the Berry's, from Picayune. Don, aka Doc, who is 87 years young, Mike, Uncle Marty, and Chip decided to come along for the ride.

Things were looking good at first as the fish were biting, but so were the gnats. The breeze picked up quick, and started gusting, causing the bugs and the fish to leave. We were on the hunt most of the day, with little to show for our efforts in most spots.

After covering a lot of water, we got on another decent bite and had to weed through a few fish. The guys hung in there and fished hard! We called it a day around 2 o'clock and headed for the barn. They finished up with a hard earned box of 71 speckled trout, 4 whites, 1 redfish, and 1 channel mullet.
