10-9-10 Day with the Family!
I had the pleasure of fishing with my family this past Saturday. My 8yr old daughter, Kaylee, my fiance, Beth, and my sister and brother in law, Jen and Kevin, all got together with me for a fun day spent on the water.
We headed out to the edges and bounced around a little bit before we found the fish going nuts. In the process, Kaylee hooks an enormous redfish and gives the pole back to me. I then passed it off to Kevin, so he could see what a bull red was all about. We finally land the beast and take some pics before releasing.
The trout were nailing the schools of glass minnows and pogies, and the water we found was gorgeous. The fish kept coming over the Privateer gunnel, until we got number 125 in the igloo. We then headed back to the BSM for yet another fish cleaning party. All fish were caught on live Boogie Shrimp and some on Key Lime Flurries.
