HOPEDALE REPORT.....

Another good day with the guys from LEE TRACTOR. Ron Matthews made it down to make his second trip this year, bringing his crew, Phil and Quinn. 

It was a very cold, windy, and low water morning. Hopes of catching were slim at best, but the guys were game and so was I. We started out in Robin only finding dirty water again. I then decided to head up top to the north marsh and got on a decent bite. 

The fish would start and stop, almost causing me to leave them. But every time we would attempt to go, a couple more fish would hit the ice. I recommended that we camp out on them with the conditions, and not leave fish to look for fish. Turned out to be a good call, as we ended the day with a good box of fish, 61 speckled trout, 5 white trout, and 6 heads.

Days like today, just go to show you how good the fishing is, when you still can manage a nice box of fish in some extremely adverse weather conditions.
