Today I had the pleasure of fishing with some good ole' boys from Jackson, MS. Joey Havens and his son, Brandon, decided at the last minute to make a run down South and come see me.
We headed straight out in the Sound. It was slow to go at first. But as the big ball of fire came up over the horizon, the dinner bell went off. The fish were hitting the shrimp like they meant it! Within no time the igloo was getting full up! At 7:35 am we were headed back to the BSM to beat the heat with our limit of 75 pretty Sound trout!
All fish were caught on live shrimp 2' under a cork in 13' of water.
