HOPEDALE REPORT.....
I had the pleasure of fishing with some of the guys with St. Tammany's Sheriff's Department. Brian Trainor, David Hall, Jimmy Richard, George Cox, and Dave's cousin Ben from FL. We fished the Bay Eloi area and got on a couple of good trout bites.
Ben was a fishing guide in FL and experienced a fishing trip that he will never forget. The crew all held their own and did a fantastic job filling the igloo to the top!
By the days end the guys had boxed 110 speckled trout, about a dozen white trout, and 1 lone redfish.
Fall fishing is at its utmost peak right now! It will remain strong through most of December. If you really want to experience some of the best fishing of the year, be sure to do it soon!
