HOPEDALE REPORT....

I had the pleasure of fishing with Rick Boyd, manager at Smuckers (Formerly Foldgers) in New Orleans. He brought along his two friends whom definitely came on the right day!

Things started off right getting into a good bite off of Robin. Boxed around 20 and it fizzled out. Fished our way all the way to Bakers and it was stick and move, some here and some there. Got into another good bite by Bay Jack. The guys hung in there and fished hard, managing a solid box of fish.

We called it a day around 2pm with 72 speckled trout, 5 redfish, 8 black drum, 2 sheephead, and 1 flounder.

It's crucial right now to pick your days. The best weather days are making for the easiest pickings!
