QUICK TRIP…..QUICK REPORT!!!

A few days back, I had the pleasure of fishing with the infamous author, Jerald Horst.

It was an exciting and fortunate opportunity as we were fishing for his new book, TROUTMASTERS TOO, “How the Pros do it.” We fished up Oak River with the cold conditions and low and behold, the trout played out just like I wanted them to as the water temps crawled up a few degrees.

They started off slow on live shrimp deep under a cork, then started taking Flurries both tightlined and under a cork, and finally the higher the fish rose in the water column towards the surface, the MirroLure Catch 5s and Corky Devils landed some nice ones in the igloo.

Knocked out 50 trout rather quick and completed another chapter of some great info for all of you anglers. Be sure to be on the look out for the new book with in the year.
