I had the pleasure of fishing with Rick Anthony from the Jackson MS, again with his wife, Lonna, friend Wayne, and his wife. We left BSM bright and early loaded down with Live Boogie Shrimp.
Turned out to be another one of those awesome Hopedale mornings, with one stop shopping! Soon as we pulled up to the spot 16-20 ct shrimp were haling butt across the water for their life! From the first cast the corks were DOWN, DOWN, DOWN!!!
The guys held their own and the ladies kept me busy, baiting hooks, casting, and taking fish off. In short order the crew put 100 speckled trout on ice and were able to beat the heat again! Some great company and a great time with Rick and his crew as always!
Fishing remains iNSANE!! No better time of year to get down here than right NOW!!
