WHAT A DAY IN HOPEDALE!!!
I had the pleasure of fishing with Hunter Fife from north Louisiana. He brought along his brother and his best friends son. It was a quick trip, hence a quick report!
We headed out to the edges of Black Bay and stopped on an island first. Immediately got into a good trout bite. The crew slung fish after fish in the boat until the bite panned out.
We then slid over to a well about a half mile away and it was Katy bar the door! Faster than the first bite and all pretty 2-3lb trout!! Number 100 hit the ice at 8:45am and the igloo was stuffed to the max.
All fish were caught on live Boogie Shrimp under corks.
Fall is knocking at the door and so is some of the best fishing of the year! If you have never fished in the Fall, then be sure to put it on your bucket list! YOU WON'T BE DISAPPOINTED!!
