I had the pleasure of fishing with Jeff Cary and his two sons Andrew and Jason. Weather was not in our favor for the area I had in mind, so switching game plans was at the top of the list. I figured Eloi would be our best bet, so I stuck to my guns, and off we went.
We got into two good trout bites but had a few fish to weed through. The guys stuck it out and did a fine job putting fish in the box. We called it a day at 11 am with 60speckled trout on ice. It turned out another fantastic day down here in Hopedale! All fish were caught on live shrimp under corks.
Fishing remains great! Fall is right around the corner and booking up quick! Don't miss out on some of the year's best fishing yet to come. Be sure to make it a point and treat yourself this fall!
